Virtus.pro have defeated Heroic 16-6 on Train and are moving on to the semi-finals of Dreamhack ZOWIE Open Bucharest. Heroic will proceed to play the winner of EnVyUs-Gambit in the decider tomorrow.

The Polish power house still had doubters to silence, after their miserable showing at StarLadder last week, while HEROIC were looking to add another entry to their list of upset results.

The Danes started on the T-side, which wasn't a boon for them as their monster overtime game against Envy had strained their mental game to cook up a recipe for consistent afterplant succes.

The grand old men of CS:GO went on to a five round streak of the back from their CT pistol, resetting Valdemar "⁠valde⁠" Bjørn Vangså and the guys from Denmark immediately in the seventh round. Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander often made his way behind ivy, but alas it was for naught. It was very much a team effort from Virtus.pro that lead to their 11-4 CT half.

One does not simply play 30+ rounds

Switching to the Terrorist side, Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński and the Bears secured another pistol round, thereby moving up to 14 rounds, before HEROIC answerred back on the first gun round. 

byali himself decided enough was enough, doing a deadly double drive-by entry kill from electric box onto the A-site, and also went aggressive in the 22th round, closing out the map 16-6 and the Plow will now move on to the semi-finals, played on Sunday.

Next up in group A, Gambit and Envy will play for survival, and HEROIC will then take on the winner of that match in the decider for a spot in the play-offs.
